Job Description

The Sarah Isom Center for Women and Gender Studies at The University of Mississippi is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Online Instructional Assistant Professor. This is a renewable full-time position with benefits, to start January 2018, teaching undergraduate online courses for the gender studies minor, both introductory and specialty courses.

Job Responsibilities

Teaching undergraduate online courses for the gender studies minor, both introductory and specialty courses on a 4/4 basis.

Assist with department recruitment efforts.

Assist Director and Associate Director in developing new courses.

Expertise in queer studies, transgender studies, or critical race studies is desirable.

Interest in course development and innovative online strategies is recommended.

Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D. in gender studies or a related field. Experience in online instruction is required.
