Job Description

This is a twelve-month, tenure-track position at the rank of associate or full professor as determined by the research/scholarly publication records, research grant procurements and academic achievements. Evidence of academic administrative experience, research/scholarly achievements, engaged/ongoing research, experience and accomplishments obtaining and administering extramurally-funded research grants and an excellent teaching record is required.

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Dean of the School of Applied Sciences, the primary responsibility will include providing leadership and visionary direction to the department. Additional responsibilities include personnel administration, budgeting, planning, accreditation, assessment, development/fundraising, sponsored program activities, agency outreach, alumni relations, enhancing scholarly activities within the department, fostering positive/collegial relationships and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must possess a PhD in Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field. Evidence of academic administrative experience, research/scholarly achievement, engaged/ongoing research, experience with extramurally-funded research grants and an excellent teaching record is required.
