Job Description

The University of Mississippi Patterson School of Accountancy seeks to fill two non-tenure track clinical faculty positions for Fall 2018. One position will be in the area of tax. The second position will be available to candidates from all accounting specialties.

Job Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be dedicated to excellent teaching, research and professional service.

Minimum Qualifications

For the clinical tax position, an earned doctorate from an AACSB-accredited university or a Juris Doctorate and master’s degree, a CPA, and teaching experience are required. For the second clinical position, an earned doctorate from an AACSB-accredited university, a CPA, and teaching experience are required. For both positions, ABD candidates in advanced stages of their dissertation with expected degree completion of no later than one year from their employment date will be considered.
