Job Description

This position manages and participates in planning, development, daily operations, and assessment for the Office of Summer, Winter and Online Sessions. The incumbent conducts program assessment and development, establishes, implements and maintains program policies and procedures, participates in fiscal management and reporting, and works in conjunction with faculty and staff throughout the University and regional campuses to manage course offerings and event planning of intersession and online classes. This position reports to the Director of the Office of Summer, Winter and Online Sessions

Job Responsibilities

Prepares reports, conducts data tracking, interprets and communicates findings of data and fiscal analysis.

Monitors course enrollment and makes course determinations to ensure are sessions profitable.

Communicates with chairs and faculty regarding course offerings and event planning of intersession and online sessions.

Participates in strategic planning, best-practice research and implementation, program assessment and program development.

Works in conjunction with the director in developing and implementing policies.

Participates in the development and monitoring of the departmental budget and management of fiscal operations.

Develops, implements and maintains program policies and procedures.

Interprets and implements actions for intersession and online classes in accordance with academic guidelines.

Provides supervision, guidance and feedback to support staff by assigning and monitoring daily tasks for accuracy and completion, and conducting performance evaluations.

Performs similar or related duties as assigned or required.

Essential Functions
These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring Department.

1. Manages and participates in program planning, development, operations and assessment.

2. Develops, implements and maintains program policies and procedures.

3. Manages course offerings and event planning of intersession and online classes.

4. Provides supervision, guidance and feedback to support staff.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university.

AND

Experience:
Three (3) years of experience related to the above described duties.

Substitution Statement: Related experience may be substituted for education, on a basis set forth and approved by the Department of Human Resources.
