Job Description

Tenure-track position in gravitational-wave astronomy at the rank of assistant professor. The position includes teaching three physics courses per academic year. The emphasis of this position is on developing an externally funded research program and laboratory capable of supporting and leading graduate students to a Ph.D.

Job Responsibilities

Teach three courses per year at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.

Contribute to the teaching and service activities of the Physics & Astronomy Department and the University of Mississippi.

Develop and maintain a viable research program.

Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D. in Physics or related field
