Job Description

This position oversees the daily operations of the University of Mississippi Athletics ticket office. The incumbent manages ticket sales and distribution, controls inventory, develops sales plans to generate revenue, and provides game day supervision for ticket operations. This position reports to the Associate Athletics Director Ticket Operations.

Job Responsibilities

Manages daily ticket office operations.

Provides guidance and support to staff to ensure customer satisfaction.

Designs and implements ticket allocation processes to maintain customer integrity and priority seating.

Oversees ticket sales and seat organization while providing a high level of customer service.

Directs printing, processing and distribution of tickets.

Creates ticket promotions designed to maximize revenue.

Develops sales plans and time lines to meet budgetary projections and increase sales efforts.

Coordinates seat selection processes with vendors.

Organizes the renewal process for season ticketholders.

Designs ticket packages to attract customers and fans.

Oversees game day management of ticket operations.

Analyzes ticket data and provides sales and inventory reports.

Confirms accuracy of accounting and ticket reconciliation records.

Provides operational support for post-season games.

Executes ticket processes and fulfillments of post-season events.

Ensures all assigned tasks are in compliance with department, University, Southeastern Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.

Performs similar or related duties as assigned or required.

Essential Functions

These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring Department.

1. Directs the daily operations of the ticket office.

2. Develops sales plans to generate revenue.

3. Provides guidance and supervision to support staff.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a related field.

AND

Experience:
Three (3) years of experience related to the above described duties.

Substitution Statement:
Related experience may be substituted for education, on a basis set forth and approved by the Department of Human Resources.
